The “Oh How I Love Being A Woman” series is a reflection on society and the power that the patriarchy holds over men and their behaviour. We live in a world dominated by men, in which hurtful and deceptive actions are normalized and commonly experienced by women. Each piece embodies toxic traits commonly exhibited by men that have terrorized and hurt women. Each man or hateful act committed can be boxed into one of the five monsters depicted; whether a liar, an abuser, a sexual predator, someone who abuses power or someone who abandons others.
